Colby is 1 month old!

I feel like I was just heading to the hospital to have our 3rd child yesterday! Today Colby is 1 month old. He weighs 10 lbs even and is 22 inches long. He is growing so fast, can already lift his head up, loves his Mom, and prefers to be held. 

He tends to get congested and gag when he is lying flat so we have been having to sleep upright with him in the recliner. At least we are getting lots of snuggles even with the major lack of sleep. Colby seems to be a pretty good-natured little guy and will sleep through just about any noise and reckus that his big brothers make. Thank goodness for that! 

I'm trying to enjoy each moment of this because I know all to well how fast these times fly by! 

New Adventures!

I cannot believe I am posting this but our sweet *not so little* 3 1/2 year old started Preschool today! 

Landon has been asking to go to school like Logan for months. But we told him that he couldn't go until he was fully potty trained. The day we had Colby, Landon decided he was done with diapers FOREVER! Yay!!

So here we are, 3 weeks later, starting Preschool 2 days a week at Bridges Preschool. Our nephew Brayden goes there also so it helps having a familiar face at school :) Landon was nervous at first but came home 3 hours later, chattering away about his day at school! I love to see their excitement about school!

Now I wish I could be okay with my little boys growing up because they are growing way TOO fast! Slow down please....

 

Quality Time

We have been so blessed to have Grandma and Grandpa here in Arizona this winter! They have been helping us out more than we ever could have imagined. 

They helped us recover Logan from his surgery, jumped in to help me when I was 9 months pregnant and Chuck hurt his knee/had to have surgery, and of course, they have been a HUGE help after Colby was born! I don't know what I would have done these last few months without them ❤️

Most of all, they have been able to spend a lot of quality time with the boys. The boys and I all wish they could live here all year around! But for now, we are enjoying every minute with them.

Chuck and the boys went hiking with Grandma, Grandpa, Kyler, and Brayden and really enjoyed some of our gorgeous AZ "winter" weather.

Introducing the newest member of the Madler Family!

Colby Samuel Madler joined our family on December 26, 2014 at 11:27am weighing in at 7 lbs 10 oz and 19 3/4 inches long. He has dark hair, full cheeks, tiny little legs, and long fingers and toes! It was love at first sight and Momma is having a hard time sharing him! 

Colby is a very sweet, mild tempered, cuddly adorable little guy. He is a great eater and loves to snuggle up to Mom while breastfeeding. When he is awake, he just looks around, calm as can be, taking in his new world! 

His big brothers are heads over heels in love with him and want to be with him all the time. This Mommy is pretty excited to watch these 3 brothers grow up together 💕
