It's SO fun to be FOUR!!

Logan has been talking about his 4th birthday for months. He has grown up so much in the last 6 months that I was feeling {more than a little} sad that our sweet 'lil man was turning FOUR!

When asked what kind of cake he wanted Mommy to make him for his birthday, he said he wanted Spiderman, Lightening McQueen, and Batman... So we settled on a Cars racetrack cake. The best part about making his cake this year was that he was able {and wanted} to be a part of the whole process...

Licking the beaters (tradition!) and watching the cake bake!

Daddy was able to stay home from work on Friday so we spent the whole day together as a family :)

First things first... OPEN PRESENTS!

Next was birthday pancakes topped off with whipped cream and sprinkles!!

Then we went to Chuck E Cheese for lunch. We had almost the whole place to ourselves so it was nice and Logan had A LOT of fun playing games with his Daddy!

Since Logan's birthday fell on a Friday this year, we decided to have a BBQ for him on Sunday so that the Merwin and Sandven families could join us for a little birthday party.

Logan had a BLAST playing with his best friends and all his new toys! We are so thankful to have family and very close friends nearby to enjoy these milestones with us!!

We were also able to get out and enjoy a Friday night High School football game with our boys and the Merwin clan!

BEST BUDDIES!!

We love hanging out with our cousins and do not do it nearly enough!

First Day of...

Preschool!!

Walking in with Daddy! This is when I had to really work on holding back my tears

Chuck and I were both able to be there for Logan's first day of Preschool at Stevenson Elementary School!

Such a big boy! We are excited to see what this school year brings!

Going to school wears this little guy out ;)

Another trip to Montana

Brotherly love :)

Another exciting airplane ride for the boys to their favorite vacation destination -  MONTANA!!

The beautiful sunset that greeted me our first morning in Montana when I went for a run... so peaceful!

The boys had a blast playing in the playhouse and with all the baby dolls at Grandma Dorothy's house. Landon was enthralled with the baby doll that was as big as he is - he just kept feeding her over and over again.

Grandma Lori and I took Logan to the Dinosaur Museum in Glendive. Logan is really into exploring new "adventures" and loves "muuseems"

Then we went across the street to explore real train cars - Logan's favorite!!

If you ask Logan his favorite part of going to Montana, his answer is always that he loves to play with ALL his cousins!

Both of the boys are Grandpa's little buddies and they follow him EVERYWHERE he goes!!

The main reason we made a trip to Montana was for our 10-year high school reunion. We had a great time catching up with some of our old friends. And the boys had a blast hanging out with Grandma and Grandpa all weekend!

Enjoying the gorgeous weather at the park

Good times!
