Logan has been talking about his 4th birthday for months. He has grown up so much in the last 6 months that I was feeling {more than a little} sad that our sweet 'lil man was turning FOUR!

When asked what kind of cake he wanted Mommy to make him for his birthday, he said he wanted Spiderman, Lightening McQueen, and Batman... So we settled on a Cars racetrack cake. The best part about making his cake this year was that he was able {and wanted} to be a part of the whole process...
Licking the beaters (tradition!) and watching the cake bake!
Daddy was able to stay home from work on Friday so we spent the whole day together as a family :)
First things first... OPEN PRESENTS!

Next was birthday pancakes topped off with whipped cream and sprinkles!!

Then we went to Chuck E Cheese for lunch. We had almost the whole place to ourselves so it was nice and Logan had A LOT of fun playing games with his Daddy!
Since Logan's birthday fell on a Friday this year, we decided to have a BBQ for him on Sunday so that the Merwin and Sandven families could join us for a little birthday party.
Logan had a BLAST playing with his best friends and all his new toys! We are so thankful to have family and very close friends nearby to enjoy these milestones with us!!
We were also able to get out and enjoy a Friday night High School football game with our boys and the Merwin clan!
BEST BUDDIES!!
We love hanging out with our cousins and do not do it nearly enough!
