First Things First...

What a great motto to live by....


This past weekend Chuck and John were a part of Kurt Warner's charity benefit First Things First weekend. It is always a blast - go-karts and auction Friday night for the boys and then a fun-filled family day watching the boys play flag football. It is an amazing faith and family-oriented weekend and the boys and I always have so much fun! 


This year Logan enjoyed every minute of it! Lots of playing in the grass with his cousins, yummy food, cheering on Daddy and Uncle John, and watching football - all of Logan's favorite things :)

Landon is already....

9 months old!!!

He is currently:

~ wearing 12-18 month clothes
~ crawling and getting into EVERYTHING
~ pulling himself up on anything he can (including his big bro!)
~ eating whatever anyone will feed him and loves fresh fruit/veggies
~ has his 2 bottom teeth
~ he is a BIG TIME Momma's boy and I cannot get too far from him ;)
~ loves his brother and always wants to be around him
~ loves to take showers/baths and be in the water
~ favorite foods are applesauce, bananas, squash, and sweet potatoes
but really wants to eat anything we are eating
~ loves to snuggle with Mommy and his blankie
~ sleeps 11-12 hours a night and takes a 2-3 hr nap in the afternoon (yes, I am VERY blessed!)
~ loves to watch his cousins play and wants to be right in the middle of everything
~ would rather be outside than anything else
~ enjoys being the center of attention 
and will squeal and screech until he has
everyone's undivided attention ;)
~ is a sweet, adorable, busy little boy who is simply happy about life!

Landon, you are loved more than you will ever know little buddy!

Well national at least! Chuck and John had the great idea to make a billboard pleading Payton Manning (former Hall of Fame QB for the Indianapolis Colts) to come to the desert and play for the Arizona Cardinals. They are receiving media attention from sportscasters all over the nation! Our boys are famous :)

I'm in trouble now...

Phoenix Marathon 2012

We were thrilled to be able to support Melissa and Chuck in their first half marathon today! Melissa has had the goal of running a half marathon for a while now and Chuck, being the supportive little bro he is, agreed to run it with her! Another one of the many reasons I love him!

We made signs to cheer on our half marathon runners, Chuck and Auntie Melissa!

Uncle Roy, Kayli, Logan, Landon, and I woke up early so we could be at the halfway point to cheer them on!

Landon was freezing since it was 8am and 45 degrees (our poor AZ babies!) so he snuggled in with Uncle Roy to stay warm :)

They were going strong...

Both of them ran the ENTIRE 13.1 miles without stopping to walk or take a break - very impressive!!

Great job! We are so proud of you both!

John, winner of the Biggest Loser last season, lives down here in Mesa and ran the Phoenix Half Marathon also. We had the opportunity to visit with him at the finish line because he finished right after Melissa and Chuck. Melissa (and I) are huge fans of the Biggest Loser and enjoyed his support and encouragement to the other runners.

Congratulations!!! We couldn't be more proud of you!
