'Tis the Season

The Christmas season is upon us and it snuck up on us SO fast!! The last month has been one that Chuck and I would chose not to repeat. We are so thankful that God knows our needs before we even ask. Even with the trials, He provided for us and all of our needs - amen!

Logan had surgery the end of November to remove his tonsils and adenoids. Thankfully he did amazing and had no issues... Other than he didn't like missing school for a whole week!

He was so brave... even though we could tell that he was nervous!

Then on Thanksgiving Day, as my mother-in-law and I were prepping our meal in the morning, Chuck called to tell me that he "hurt his knee pretty bad" while playing football in the Turkey Bowl. Lots of pain, ice, hobbling around on crutches, an MRI, and 1 week later, Chuck met with an orthopedic surgeon to learn that he had tore the meniscus in his right knee. Answered prayers that he didn't injure his ACL!

The surgeon was worried that I was so close to my due date with baby #3 so he was able to squeeze Chuck in for surgery the beginning of December. A quick 1 hour procedure to clean up the torn cartlidge and he is almost back to 100%. Praise God!!

With all the unexpected stress, I've had a few bouts of preterm labor but luckily we were able to keep baby in to cook a little longer! As I type this, I am 37 weeks 5 days pregnant. Yay!

We cannot wait to meet our new little one when he or she is ready to come!! The anticipation is killing everyone ;)

Chuck and I took the boys to see Santa today! Nothing makes my heart happier than to see our boys eyes light up! They were so excited to meet Santa and tell him what good boys they have been this year. :) And this Momma would have to agree! We are spoiled with 2 sweet, loving little boys ❤️

Merry Christmas from our family to yours!!
