Wow! Time flies....

Our little Landon is already 6 months old!
Before I know it, I will be planning his first birthday... I cannot believe how this time is flying by!

Landon is a very active, determined 6 month old. Here are some of his milestones:

~ sitting up by himself ~
~ loves eating cereal and baby food (He just loves to eat!) ~
~ babbling all the time, mostly "dada" and "gagaga" ~
~ already trying to pull himself up and stand up on everything ~
~ wants to be held and loves to cuddle ~
~ don't even think of setting him down and walking away (complete meltdown!)
~ very attached to his Mommy ;) ~
~ "Praise Baby" DVD's are the best inventions ever~
~ most of the time, your big brother is the ONLY person who can calm you down and can also make you start laughing at the drop of a hat ~
~ wearing 9-12 month clothes ~
~ loves to snuggle up with big, soft, fuzzy blankies ~
~ sleeping through the night (most of the time!) ~
~ still trying to get those 2 bottom teeth to break through after working on them for over a month now and drooling/chewing on everything ~

Overall, he is a sweet, happy, healthy little boy who loves his family (esp. his big brother) more than anything! I cannot believe you are already half a year old little man and we have been loving every minute of it! You are an amazing blessing and we love you so much!

Already picking on his big brother... Uh oh!!!

The Love of a Child

The greatest love of all is be able to have a child’s love
To love your child and to have your child love you back
Waking each morning with your child’s eyes on you.
A child’s love keeps you believing in brighter days
Believing that dreams do come true
Giving you hope for a brighter future
Bring happiness to your heart
Bringing rainbows to every gray sky
Having the love and comfort of a child is the greatest gift in life
A child’s love is forever lasting
No matter how far you travel
No matter how many miles away,
You will always have your child’s love in your heart
It will never go away
You can always feel your child’s presence in your heart
Your child’s home is in your heart
Their love is always here to comfort you.

Enjoying the Christmas season!

I get SO excited for the Christmas season every year! But this year seems extra special for many reasons... We have been blessed beyond our wildest dreams this year. Landon joined our family, Chuck enjoys his job and they are busier than ever, I was able to stay home and be a full-time Mommy, and Logan is growing into the most lovable, polite, fun big brother! And I love that Logan is understanding more and more every day so I am able to explain Christmas to him. He is full of wonder and excitement and I cannot get enough of his wonderful imagination.

Visiting Santa Claus this year was a very big deal for Logan (He even made me take him to get a haircut before he would go see Santa!). He was a little shy at first but then just enjoyed Santa's company... He didn't even ask for anything ;)  Christmas is so much more magical to me know that I can enjoy it through the eyes of my children!
