As our boys absolutely love going to Montana to see our family, they were so excited to leave HOT Arizona that they jumped in the suitcases - we are ready to go Mom!
We were able to join Kristin, John, and their kiddos as we were all flying into Rapid City, SD. It worked out perfect because Logie had his BFF, Brayden, to hang out with in the airport and on the airplane. And I got the best end of the deal because I got to sit with Kayli and Brooklyn who kept Landon entertained the ENTIRE flight! We had a great time :)

After we landed in SD, we headed to Spearfish with Grandma and Grandpa. It was a cold, drizzly day but we were able to catch a break in the rain and headed to the Fish Hatchery. Logan had a blast running around and feeding the fish with Daddy, Grandma, and Grandpa. Landon was just happy to be outside so we wandered around enjoying the cool, crisp air.

Beautiful Spearfish, SD! One of my most favorite places in the world!!
Enjoyed a walk and some time at the local park ;)
The next day while Logan was "camping" with Grandma and Grandpa, Chuck and I went for a drive through Spearfish Canyon (so Landon could sleep in the car) and to soak in the scenery! SO peaceful ~
Stopped in Deadwood for a little stroll and some lunch

Logan's favorite part of camping - riding Grandpa's 4-wheeler
After camping in SD, we headed to Baker, MT. Logan crashed and Landon, well he played on the I-Pad... yes, my 11-month old loves to play on the I-Pad. Crazy I know!
The whole reason for our trip to Montana was to see our beautiful niece, Marriah, graduate from high school. We enjoyed a full weekend celebrating Marriah and all of her accomplishments - she graduated Valedictorian and will be attending University of Chicago this fall. We are SO proud of her!

After graduation, we headed to Glendive to spend some more time with our families.
Landon's first ice cream cone - I would say that he LOVES it, wouldn't you?!
Logan also enjoyed riding Grandpa's new toy, his Razr, all around Glendive. Good thing Daddy liked driving it around ;)

Landon playing Peek-A-Boo with a napkin at Gusthauf - silly boy!
No trip to Montana is complete until we roast marshmallows with Grandma and Grandpa in their firepit in their backyard

These family pictures that Kristin took while we were all in Baker are priceless. I love that we were able to get ALL of the grandkids in one picture (even though both of our boys are crying in every one). It is very rare that we are all together at the same time so these pictures mean A LOT to me.
All the great-grandkids with Papa
All the great-grandkids with Grandma Dorothy
The whole family!
These BFF's got to spend lots of time together!

We celebrated this sweet little boy's first birthday with a family BBQ while everyone was together in Montana. I will post pictures of that wonderful celebration and some one-year pictures that his Auntie took when we get closer to his birthday ;)
