Montana Vacation 2011

Montana - "Big Sky" Country, Chuck and I's birthplace, where most of our family still lives, beautiful mountains and prairies, gorgeous weather, amazing food, great people, our favorite place!

The boys and I were lucky enough to spend almost the entire month of August in gorgeous Montana while Daddy had to sweat out 115 degree temps in Arizona. We enjoyed just hanging out outside and spending much needed time with our family!

Getting our fill of fried food at Gusthauf with Grandma Lori

Logan had SO much fun being able to spend almost all day, every day, outside in Grandma and Grandpa's backyard. In AZ, we had been cooped up in our house for several HOT months already and we couldn't get enough of the 50-60 degree nights and 75-85 degree days - absolutely perfect!!

Logan discovered that the doggy door was a perfect way to get his toys outside without having to open the door every time - ingenious  ;-)

Logan actually never got into the pool because he thought it was too cold outside to go swimming - the high temp that day was 88 (not hot enough for an AZ boy!)

(Auntie Melissa gave Logan not one, but 2 cupcakes, AND the bag of frosting!!! He was one happy 'lil boy!)

We then spent some much needed time in Baker with Uncle Roy, Auntie Melissa, and all the cousins. Logan and Landon (and Mommy!) were spoiled rotten by Auntie Melissa and Logan could not get enough of his cousins!!

After 2 weeks in Montana, Chuck was finally able to fly up and join us. After spending a few more days in Baker, we made the 587 mile journey all the way across the state for my little sister's wedding. We made stops in Billings and Wolf Creek along the way to see more family and actually enjoyed our drive across the state. We took our time and the boys traveled great!

I could not be happier for Carly and Michael! I am so glad that we were able to take part in their big day

Our handsome 'lil ring bearer

She was absolutely stunning!!

Logan enjoyed EVERY minute of the reception! He danced for almost 4 hours straight and had the time of his life!!!

Needless to say, when we got back to the house we were renting, he could hardly hold his head up. He flopped over one of the dining room chairs and didn't move.

He couldn't even make it to the bed before he crashed!

(More pictures of the wedding to come...)

We spent another great vacation in our favorite place with our favorite people!!
